Part-Time Work: Crew Positions

Work is 2-3 days a week, on Tue/Wed/Fri, depending on weather and schedule. Days are usually 9am - 4pm, with a paid lunch break and no expectation to stay after 4pm. Reliable transportation required, because job-site locations change with short notice. Gardening or landscaping experience can be a plus, but is not necessary. I have hired many excellent people with no experience, who simply had a desire to learn.

Pay is $18/hour, with a raise to $20/hour after your first month and $22/hour after your first season.

Part-Time Work: Mapping Assistant

Mapping assistants work with me to measure sites, draw basemaps, and ink/re-ink designs. Strong mathematical and spacial skills required, along with comfort working outdoors. Carpentry/building experience is a plus, as this can build one’s awareness of physical spaces. No computer skills required.

Summer Internship

6 Weeks: 1-2 days a week

Interns develop hands-on design skills, including measuring, mapping, and drafting. Commitment is 1-2 days a week. Good spacial awareness and comfort with measuring required.
